My story for Batanga.com about Mana is online
Best concert ever. It may be quite some time before I see a band that can beat Mana!
Read what I thought here at Batanga.com.

Getting Ready For Mana!
Tomorrow night and Monday night I'll be covering Mana's shows here in Phoenix for Batanga.com and I can't wait!
I'm excited to be writing for Batanga.com. Here are some details about the site at the Wikipedia. That's right -- Batanga is bigger than AOL Latino and Univsion.com!
I've been a Mana fan for about three years now. So of course I'm really excited and telling all my friends I'm covering the show tomorrow night for Batanga. Well, my white friends have no idea what I'm talking about. All I can come up with to explain the power of Mana is that this band is like the Mexican equivalent of U2. There's just nothing like Mana's sound!
Get the full experience with some YouTube videos:
I don't know the artist joining them in this song though. Someone is going to have to help me out and leave a comment below:
Maybe Corazon Espinado with Carlos Santana will refresh your memory about who Mana are:

The Carter 3
Shall I add to the rumors about The Carter 3?
Sure, why not.
According to the VMA Twitter, Weezy says The Carter 3 will be released on December 18!
From the MTV VMA Twitter: " Yo this Weezy im about 2 give all my MTV fans some exclusive info on this VMA weekend My next album The Carter 3 drops December 18th..."

The perfect item for a Music Stalker like me
It's the VMA's on Twitter! Is that really Soulja Boy, Chris Daughtry, and Timbaland Twittering on the VMA Twitter?
What a brilliant marketing idea, one.
Two, I am The Music Stalker. This really feeds my need.
Unfortunately I won't be watching the VMAs as they happen. It's OK; we all know that MTV will replay them over and over for two weeks straight. Instead of watching the debacle live on cable, I'll be at the Mana concert here in Phoenix.

Why It's Called "The Music Stalker"
As I launch this blog plus the website Themusicstalker.com, you're probably wondering why I'm calling it that and what it's all about. Basically, I want to cover music I like the way I want. In other words, I am choosing to work independently for myself.
I have been stalking a Phoenix rapper called Grime all summer and finally got to interview him yesterday for my podcast at Melodytrip.com.
As I was e-mailing him for probably the 200th time to track him down, I realized I am a music stalker. I stalk artists, news, blogs, iTunes, Soundpedia.com, radio stations, online radio, MySpace, podshow, Virb, music festivals and more searching for music to quench my musical appetite. And I love ALL kinds of music...save for Michael Buble.
I'm a music fan to the point of being a stalker. Sure I get away with it as I've been in radio for ten years now and stalking gossip and news about any and every artist is, well, sort of my job. Normal people don't do what I do...do they? If you do, you're welcome here at The Music Stalker blog and the soon-to-be-online website.
Check back for updates. It's going to be a place I can post whatever I want, whatever is on my mind, podcasts, blogs, articles, interviews, etc.
